Please note due to the upcoming General Election the next meeting of the Bishop Auckland Town Team has been rescheduled and will now be held on Thursday 23rd January 2020 at 6pm.
The General Election is due to be held on Thursday 12th December, and during the pre-election period (known as purdah) strict rules apply that limit activities of public bodies, specifically around publicity and communications.
As Durham County Council and Bishop Auckland Town Council are active members of the Town Team, it has been necessary to rearrange the Town Team meeting that was scheduled on Thursday 21st November.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and look forward to seeing you on Thursday 23rd January 2020.
(The Town Team Annual General Meeting will still take place on Thursday 21st May 2020)
