Next meeting date has been changed

Please note that the next meeting of the Bishop Auckland Town Team has been postponed and will now be held on Thursday 14th March at 6pm.

A by-election will be held to elect a Town Councillor for the Woodhouse Close Ward on Thursday 7th March. During the pre-election period (known as purdah) strict rules apply that limit activities of public bodies.

As two of the Town Team’s key members are public bodies, ie Durham County Council and Bishop Auckland Town Council, it has been necessary to rearrange the Town Team meeting.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will see you on the 14th March.
