Monster Saturday 2018

On Saturday 27th October the Bishop Auckland Town Team invite you to dress up in your scary costumes and enjoy some live spooky entertainment.

North East magician FLASH, as seen on TV’s Britain’s Got Talent, will be doing a Halloween themed magic show from 11:30am till 12:30pm. With plenty of opportunities for the kids to come up on stage to help with the magic and win a special Halloween balloon model as a prize.

The Spectrum Roller Skating Club will be performing at 10:45am and again at 12:45pm.

The Sandra Welsh School of Dance will be performing some spooky dance routines at 11:10am and again at 1:10pm.

Later enjoy a variety of spooky themed magic, illusion and circus performances with Iain Jay from 1:30pm till 2:30pm.

Tall Tales Mysteries will be located inside Unit 5 (Old Shoe Zone shop) from 10:30am till 2:30pm where the children can take part a variety of Hallowe’en based fun activities. There will be a mini crime scene where children can investigate by looking for fingerprints, clues, hair and fibres, with different suspects.

Why not dress up in your spooky costumes and join in our ‘Pumpkin Parade’ where there will be prizes for the best dressed! Starting at 12:30pm.

The town team mascot, ‘Bishop The Boar’ will be making guest appearances throughout the day and there’s also FREE face painting!

All happening inside the Newgate Shopping Centre from 10:30am till 2:30pm.
