Brand new for 2018, the Bishop Auckland Town Team are holding a 1940s themed day on Saturday 9th June 2018.
Happening in Bishop Auckland Market Place between 10.00am and 4.00pm there will be a selection of Military Vehicles on display with LIVE performances from The Fenner Sisters.
There will be some 1940’s music from the local Sound Waves Community Choir and performances from the Sandra Welsh School of Dance.
Local businesses are joining in the theme by decorating their shop windows and dressing up in 1940s costume.
In addition to the live music and entertainment in the Market Place from 10am till 4pm you can enjoy more 1940s music from Yvonne Vintage Vocalist at The Merry Monk from 4pm then later at Fifteas Vintage Tearoom from 7:30pm.
