The Bishop Auckland Town Team are once again taking you back to the 1940s.
With live entertainment, performances and much more it’s guaranteed to be a fantastic feel good event!
Bishop Auckland will be transported back to an era of wartime rationing, tea dresses and swing dancing when it hosts its second 1940s weekend.
Performances from the Sandra Welsh School of Dance and the Bishop Auckland Theatre Society.

The 29th Field Kitchen will be in attendance where they offer a unique experience, bringing wartime cooking techniques to life. They cook on authentic cookers, using original recipes, displaying period equipment and rationed items.
There will be a vintage bus supplied by the North East Bus Preservation Trust which will take people on a tour of the town throughout the day. Bus stop will be outside Monacos in the Market Place.
